Benevon: Non Profit Fundraising, Training, & Consulting
 &

We already had relationships with donors, but have significantly increased personal contact. [Benevon] has given us a tool and training for effectively following up and cultivating relationships.

About Us

What we do:

Benevon trains and coaches nonprofit organizations to implement a mission-based system for non profit fundraising from individual donors. This system ends the suffering about fundraising and builds passionate donors who are committed to your non profit sustainability.

Our programs and services provide the step-by-step process and the tools—training, templates, scripts, and rigorous coaching—to put each organization on the pathway to financial sustainability. What we are committed to:

  • Taking the pain out of fundraising for nonprofit organizations
  • Training and empowering nonprofits to build a long-term stable base of individual funding so they can become financially self-sufficient and focus more fully on their missions
  • Giving donors the opportunity to contribute personally to the life-changing work of the nonprofit sector and to make a difference with their money

What we believe:

At Benevon, we believe that sustainable funding is within the reach of every nonprofit organization if they dedicate themselves to making this happen, systematically, over time. Our programs and services provide the step-by-step process and the tools—training, templates, scripts, and rigorous coaching—to put each organization on the pathway to non profit sustainability.

We believe it is possible to train organizations to implement a non profit fundraising system that will, over time, build passionate and committed lifelong donors. Our model is founded on the fact that over 80% of all charitable contributions come from individual donors, over 90% of households in America give each year, and that there is potential for total charitable giving to increase dramatically. Studies continue to show that the number one reason people give is because they support and believe in the work and mission of the organization. While these statistics hold true across all sizes and types of communities, most nonprofit organizations still rely on funding from corporations, foundations, and special events. They are at a loss for how to get off the fundraising "treadmill."

We believe that human beings around the world are innately generous and giving. We believe it is possible to increase the size of the giving "pie." When donors are truly connected to the impact of an organization's work and cultivated systematically over time, they will naturally give larger and larger gifts. Many of these same donors, knowing of the organization's goal of financial sustainability, will choose to be a part of supporting the long-term future of the organization.

We believe that it is no longer necessary for nonprofits to suffer on the fundraising treadmill of year-to-year gap-filling funding. Rather than endowment funds being the exclusive domain of major universities and other large institutions, we believe the time has come in the evolution of the nonprofit sector for well-established small and mid-sized organizations of all types to take their funding futures into their own hands, stepping off the treadmill and onto the path to financial sustainability. We believe it is possible for these organizations, over time, to systematically build an endowment fund that can provide a constant source of income to cover increasing amounts of an organization's operating shortfall in addition to protecting the organization against tough times.

We believe that part of the new American dream—and ultimately part of the dream of citizens of every civil society—is to become a quiet philanthropist, to make a difference with their money, both during and after their lifetimes. Our model is designed to give donors and nonprofit organizations the opportunity to fulfill on that dream.
