Benevon: Non Profit Fundraising, Training, & Consulting
 &

I can honestly say it has brought new energy around here and a new perspective on ministry for everyone….It hit us over our head – this is the way to reach out to the community and tell our story but we didn’t have the tool before.

Which of Our Programs is Right for You?

We offer two programs for groups that are new to the Benevon Model:

  • Benevon 101 Workshop—Building Sustainable Funding for Your Mission
    (Tuition: $14,000)
Our signature one-year training and coaching program. Starts with a two-day training for your team of five to seven people, followed by four private one-hour coaching conference calls. Designed to deliver one year of predictable success. Results: average group raises $175,000 in the first year in gifts and pledges.
  • Benevon Five-Year Sustainable Funding Program
    (Tuition: $95,000—paid in annual increments of $20,000, $20,000, $19,000, $18,000, and $18,000)
Five years of trainings, coaching, spreadsheets, and benchmarks, designed to build quantifiable long-term sustainable funding. Package includes annual trainings for teams of eight people, training for an additional fifteen new team members from the same local chapter or organization, additional coaching hours, and group conference calls. Results: average group raises over $400,000 per year (includes gifts and pledges), $1.5 million cumulatively by third year, and $3.5 million cumulatively by fifth year.

Each program has specific readiness criteria to ensure that you will be successful in achieving the results of that program. We will work with you to determine the right level for you to enter our curriculum.

How to determine which program is right for your organization

Overall, most groups progress through these steps as they prepare their team to participate in our Five-Year Sustainable Funding Curriculum. Rate yourself on each step by answering "yes" or "no" to determine the program level that is right for you.

  1. We have one champion for implementing the Benevon Model in our organization. (Yes / No)
This is usually the CEO, executive director, development director, or a board member who has attended a Benevon introductory session or heard about the success of the model at another organization and sees the possibility of success with implementing the model at their organization.
  2. We have the buy-in of our executive director or CEO to participate in the Benevon curriculum provided that we can find the funding to attend. (Yes / No)
Without CEO buy-in, the model will never take hold in an organization. Ultimately, the CEO must be a member of your Benevon workshop team.
  3. We have at least one board member who:
    • Is excited about the model.
    • Is willing to invite other board members to introductory sessions.
    • Will champion the model for a board presentation and vote to participate in the Benevon curriculum.
    (Yes / No)
  4. We have board approval to attend Benevon 101 as part of the curriculum for sustainable funding. (Yes / No)
This happens after the board has heard a presentation of the Benevon Model and had the opportunity to ask questions and thoroughly understand what they would be committing to by coming into the Benevon curriculum.
  5. We have funding in place to cover the tuition and travel expenses for our team of six to eight people to attend a two-day training each year. (Yes / No)
