Benevon: Non Profit Fundraising, Training, & Consulting
 &

We're using the model to build relationships with those who think of us first during the holidays. We also have a huge opportunity with volunteers. We used to see these people sometimes as a burden because we had to arrange work for them. Now we're utilizing these relationships, and it's opening doors.

Our Name and Logo

In October of 2006, Raising More Money changed its name to Benevon. Moving into a new era as Benevon has allowed us to firmly establish our distinctive, mission-based model for non profit fundraising as the standard operating system for individual giving. Loosely translated, "of benefit," we feel this name, at its root, represents the benefit, beneficence, and benevolence of the nonprofit organizations we serve and their work in the world. It is designed to reflect our goal of assisting nonprofit organizations of all types and sizes in fulfilling their missions.

Our new logo retains, at its core, the beautiful and symbolic image of an Indian ten-rupee "Food For All" coin. Its elements—the sun, the lotus flower, and the grain—represent the enduring, organic, abundance-based philosophy of our fundraising model. The sun represents the source of life in many cultures and times; the lotus flower, a symbol of prosperity, growing in mud at the bottom of a pond and then raising itself above the water to reveal its beauty, represents the soul rising from the confusion of matter into the clarity of enlightenment. And, lastly, the grain, a symbol of controlled nature, represents the human soul which, like grain, must be cared for and cultivated.

Thank you for your continued support in our new era as Benevon.
