Benevon: Non Profit Fundraising & Training

 &

Our first event was very successful. We had 250 guests, 127 gave, and it was $110,000 over the five years. People found the experience to be so rewarding, a lot of our Table Captains asked if they could do it again this year.

Benevon 301: Major Gifts - Moving Towards Sustainability

Now into their third or fourth year of using the model, most organizations have a significant number of loyal individual donors. They see the possibility of developing an endowment to sustain their operating needs into the future. Before they can focus on endowment, the next step is to use the Benevon Model to develop their system for cultivating and asking for major gifts.

A workshop attendee speaks to the group about her passion for her mission.Your team will learn to:

  • Develop a customized plan for sustainable funding
  • Cultivate and ask ten donors for major gifts

Using an informal discussion format and actual case examples from participants, this workshop explores:

  • Designing a detailed plan for sustainable funding
  • Starting or expanding a major gifts or capital campaign
  • Asking for major gifts naturally
  • Using the Ask Event to grow major donors
  • Keeping the model fresh
  • Recruiting and developing the board of your dreams
  • Dealing with the ebb and flow caused by staff and board changes
  • Fundraising after the “ripened fruit” has been picked

Prerequisites:
This workshop is designed specifically for organizations that have:

  • Enrolled in the Five-Year Sustainable Funding Program.
  • Attended both the Benevon 101 and Benevon 201 Workshops.
  • Been highly successful with the implementation of the Benevon Model.
  • A passionate ongoing commitment to the continued transformation of their organization using this approach.

Benevon New Team Member Intensive:
As an incentive to bring new staff, board, and volunteers up to speed prior to joining your team for the 301 Workshop, we offer the Benevon New Team Member Intensive.

This rigorous session is offered in a three-hour live online format. The session provides the essential nuts and bolts of the Benevon Model for new individual team members so they can join their team and participate in their organization's current Benevon plan.
