Benevon Regional Coach Job Description

Benevon trains and coaches nonprofit organizations to implement a mission-based system for raising sustainable funding from individual donors. This system ends the suffering about fundraising and builds passionate and committed lifelong donors.

The Benevon work environment is exciting and fast-paced. A candidate for this position must be focused, efficient, and able to prioritize work projects and effectively manage his/her time in an ever-changing environment. Extensive travel is required for this position.

Occasionally, an opening exists for outstanding candidates to become Regional Coaches. Resumes are always welcome and will be reviewed as openings occur. It takes up to 2 years to fully train a person in this position and we require a commitment of 5 years with a signed contract within the first 6 months.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Coaching 80-100 nonprofit groups annually to successfully implement the model
  • Depending on prior experience with the Benevon Model, may coach 5-year groups
  • Maintaining accurate information in the company-wide database
  • Developing business in assigned region through networking, leading introductory sessions and presenting at conferences
  • Leading to specified number of guests at introductory sessions annually
  • Filling 2-4 workshops in region annually
  • Attending and contributing to workshops at various levels (101, 201, etc.)
  • Managing regional team in Seattle office to support marketing efforts
  • Contributing to the development of Benevon as a whole
  • This position requires extensive travel, up to 12-days per month

The position requires the following skills and experience:

  • Completion of the Benevon 101 training
  • Successful implementation of the Benevon Model at a nonprofit organization
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Proven leadership in the nonprofit field
  • Experience with MS Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability/willingness to be coachable

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Completion of a Benevon workshop at the 301 level or higher
  • Experience and/or ability to operate from a home office
  • Focused, efficient, and able to effectively prioritize work projects and manage time under rigid deadlines
  • Be a team player
