Benevon: Non Profit Fundraising & Training

 &

The [Benevon] Model has provided our school with a frame within which we can place everything we are already doing, and the structure to clarify the things we need to do better! There are so many conversations out there just waiting to be had! This Model has propelled us forward in a way that opens our doors to the many people who want to connect with our mission.

Benevon Introductory Sessions

The best way to learn about the Benevon Model is by attending one of our engaging Introductory Sessions.

The best way to learn about the Benevon Model is by attending one of our engaging Introductory Sessions. What are Benevon Introductory Sessions?
In addition to our Curriculum for Sustainable Funding, we offer these short, fast-paced sessions ideal for staff, board, and volunteers who want an overview of the Benevon Model for building sustainable funding from lifelong individual donors. Each session functions as a stand-alone training as well as an introduction to our two-day Benevon 101 Workshop, where each attending organization learns to customize the model.

What will we learn?

  • An overview of the Benevon Model, a step-by-step system for building sustainable funding from mission-based lifelong individual donors
  • How to convert existing donors into major donors
  • How to engage your board in the fundraising process without requiring that they ask for money

Dates and locations of upcoming Benevon Workshops are provided at each Introductory Session.

Participants will have an opportunity to order Benevon books and videos at each Introductory Session.

How can we attend?
Introductory Sessions vary from one to three hours in length and are offered in three ways:

  • In Person: Introductory Sessions are hosted by nonprofit organizations throughout North America, often free of charge or occasionally for a modest fee. Go to our Introductory Sessions Calendar to find upcoming events in your area, including special board member panel events where you can hear board members from our alumni organizations respond to questions about their successes and challenges implementing the model.
  • Free Online Video: Log on anytime, 24/7, to watch Terry Axelrod's new online video, Seventeen Minutes to Sustainable Funding. This video is a quick, easy, and engaging way to introduce others at your organization to this mission-based approach. For more information, or to watch right now, please go to the Online Video page. En español.
  • Conference Calls: On these free, live calls, you will learn the basics of the Benevon Model and hear from Benevon Workshop alumni who have implemented the model. We offer general introduction calls, along with a variety of calls designed for specific types of organizations (such as faith-based organizations) and specific roles within organizations (such as board members). Visit our Conference Calls page to learn more and sign up for a free call.

Private Thirty-Minute Board Calls

You know you need to get "buy in" from your board to attend the full two-day workshop and successfully implement this in your organization.
