Number of Free Feel-Good Cultivation Events
Q: We are hoping to implement your model for an Ask Event™ luncheon this year. We look forward to a great success. My question to you is this: A "thank you" party is in the planning stages already—is it appropriate to have major donors mixed in with the donors who did not give as much but gave all they could and from their hearts, or should we segregate the larger donors from the smaller donors? Kim in Oregon A: I'm glad to hear you'll be gearing up for the Ask Event. Make sure you follow the rest of the Benevon Model before then, to have enough of the "ripened fruit" at your event. Our "thank you" events are also called Free Feel-Good Cultivation Events™, and I would recommend holding two: one for all of the donors, regardless of their giving level, and one smaller event that's special for the larger donors. You can have the second one be a dinner party at someone's home, just to make it more intimate and personal, as long as you include an inspiring talk from your Visionary Leader™ and a testimonial speaker.
