Q: I have a question about the seven-minute video used at the Ask Event^™. Once we create a video, should we use the same video year after year? Since we will have some of the same people at the Ask Event in future years, we are wondering if they will be bored with seeing the same video over and over.

A: We recommend that you use the same seven-minute video for a maximum of two years. After that, as you suspected, you will need to update your video. You can re-use some of the footage from your old video, but it should be tweaked to fit the theme of your organization's Ask Event that year. Remember that a truly effective video synthesizes your work down to its emotional essence, with the main theme lying in the heart and soul of your mission.
