1. Ask your board members these questions:
   
   
   • Which part of our work in the community is most important to you? How would you feel if you knew that your favorite program or service was in serious jeopardy and might be eliminated?
   • Are you ever frustrated with our current fundraising activities? Do you sometimes feel there must be a better way to raise money?
   • What is the legacy you want to leave for this organization?

2. Have them take seventeen minutes of their time to watch the free online video: Seventeen Minutes to Sustainable Funding.
   
   
3. Have them attend a free Benevon board member sustainable funding conference call and listen to other board members describe the process their board went through to get their organization off the fundraising treadmill and into the world of major gifts and endowments.
   
   
4. If you already have one or more board members who are excited about the model, have them speak about it at a board meeting, citing examples and results of other groups like yours.
5. Have them sign up for a private thirty-minute conference call with one of our senior staff who will describe the model and answer questions about how it can be customized to build long-term sustainable funding for your unique organization.
