Lunch-Time Point of Entry
Q: I read that you recommend having no food at a lunch-time Point of Entry®. Why is this? Bettina in Florida A: If you choose to have your Point of Entry Event at lunch time, we don't recommend a whole meal, given the limited time you have. We find the meal distracts people from your program and also may give the impression that you have money to spare. If your Point of Entry is during a time of day when your guests might be hungry, it's OK to provide a light snack like fruit or cheese and crackers and a soft drink or coffee. We find that if you tell people in advance that there will be light snacks provided and that the event will last no longer than an hour, they can plan their mealtimes accordingly. Terry |
