Sustainable Funding Program

After successfully implementing the Benevon Model the first year, most organizations have a glimpse of the fundraising potential—and complexity—of our seemingly simple model and they choose to join our five-year Sustainable Funding Program in their second year.

The Benevon five-year Sustainable Funding Program is our special training and coaching package designed for groups serious about attaining long-term nonprofit financial sustainability.Staying with the model over time, organizations like yours are able to significantly increase their funding from individual donors year after year, building a strong major gifts program, capital, and endowment.

The Benevon five-year Sustainable Funding Program is our special training and coaching package designed for groups serious about attaining long-term non profit financial sustainability.

With five annual workshops (usually starting with Benevon 201) of successively advanced content and coaching customized to the needs of your organization, we guide your team of board, staff, and volunteers through the process of embedding the Benevon Model into the day-to-day culture of the organization and attaining your specific measurable goals for financial sustainability.

In the Benevon Sustainable Funding Program, your organization will:

  • Create a step-by-step plan for attaining long-term financial sustainability
  • Attend a two-day workshop each calendar year for five years with your team of seven people and receive private coaching with your team every eight to ten weeks each year
  • Send up to fifteen people (three people per year) to the Benevon New Team Member Intensive to bring them up to speed on the Benevon Model for non profit fundraising, so long as they are all from the same local office as your original team and will be doing their fundraising together at one Ask Event
  • Be invited to participate in national conference calls to connect your board members, volunteers, executive director, and development staff with other Sustainable Funding Program participants and discuss challenges and best practices of non profit fundraising
  • Lock in our current tuition rates
  • Assure Benevon's commitment to support your organization in attaining sustainable funding

2017 tuition:

  • Tuition is $125,000 per team (paid in annual increments of $25,000).
    • Please note that tuition does not include travel and lodging costs.
  • All payments must be made by check. We do not accept credit cards.

Application process:

  1. Contact one of our experienced representatives who will work with you to identify the ideal team members and ensure that they are all up to speed on the Sustainable Funding Program.
  2. Request an application and fill it out.
  3. Have each team member watch Creating Sustainable Funding, our fifty-five-minute video overview of the model, and read the Eight Guiding Principles of Benevon.
  4. Have a Readiness Assessment conference call with a Benevon staff member and your team.
  5. Sign a contract.
  6. Pay your first year's tuition.
